Bio

Kayla Daniels is a Nashville recording artist that now resides near her childhood roots in SW Minnesota. Growing up, she always had a passion for singing and songwriting and would force her family, mostly her 3 older brothers, to listen to her belt her own originals. She would watch the Grand Ole Opry with her grandparents on the weekends, and her mom would play old records where Kayla and her siblings would sing and dance in the living room to artists like Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynett, Tanya Tucker, and even Simon and Garfunkel. Kayla was known to hum herself to sleep at only 7 1/2 months old. It’s safe to say, music is all she has ever known. When she turned 21 and finished her degree in Agribusiness, she decided to pack up her life and move to Nashville, where she sang at the World Famous “Tootsies”, Rippy’s BBQ, Honky Tonk Central, and many other famous bars in Music City 6-7 days a week. After 4 years, and some hard times, she decided to move back to Minnesota. She still travels back to Nashville on a regular basis for songwriting sessions and shows. Kayla continues to grow her following and still loves performing anywhere and everywhere the world will let her. She believes she was given a gift from god to be able to share her thoughts and talents through music and will continue to write and sing until she is unable to speak or find strength to pick up a paper and pencil to write down what she is thinking. She appreciates the support and love everyone has given her through her musical journey and is excited to see what will be next.
